Hiring Chalton Village Hall
Chalton Village Hall is suitable for smaller events – we have a capacity for 80 people:
Children’s parties, including bouncy castles
Family celebrations
Wedding celebrations
Regular bookings can also be arranged providing the event is open to the local community.
2024 charges are £20 per hour with a £100 deposit (refundable providing T’s&C’s are met).
2025 charges £25 per hour.
A discounted rate is available for Chalton residents. Please ask us when you enquire.
What we provide:
Kitchen area:
- Large fridge
- Large microwave
- Hot water urn and kettle
- Tea towels
Toilets:
- Toilet rolls
- Soap
- Cleaning products
- Brooms/mop & bucket/vacuum
Main hall:
- Oblong tables x 13 120cm x 60cm
- Oblong tables x 4 180cm x 70cm
- 80 chairs
What we do NOT provide:
- Oven or hob
- Glassware
- Crockery
- Cutlery
There is no disabled toilet, although toilets are on the same level as main hall.
We do not have an in house catering service
Due to the age of the building and the speciality paint hirers may not attach anything directly to the walls.
Free standing displays are acceptable.
